Silvaner is one of the oldest middle European grapes. In the 19th century it was the most important grape variety cultivated in Germany
Silvaner request best locations because of its sensitivity to freezing. The medium-seized berries ripen late and deliver fruity wines of a greenish-golden colour.

Our Silvaner is very dry and has decent flavours of pear and lime fruit. Its acidity is especially digestible.

Silvaner dry is an universally light and delightful wine which goes especially well with fish and seafood, meat, poultry, rice and pasta, and vegetarian dishes. It is especially well-tasting together with asparagus.
