The Faber grape was first cultivated at the end of the 1920ies. It is very frost-sensitive and therefore requires very warm locations. Nowadays, it is very rarely to be found.
This white wine has a decent, fine-aromatic muscatel bouquet – a pleasant combination of fruitiness and a touch of sweetness. Its mild acidity is very pleasant and does not cause any heartburn.
Faber medium-sweet is a good companion to sweet-and-sour dishes, poultry, seafood, rice and pasta dishes, and vegetarian food.
