Sekt (Sparkling Wine) · Dry or Sweet

Find Your Favourite Sparkling Wine
Three styles of sparkling wine – the selection is small but refined. Choose between brut, dry and semi-dry, depending on whether you prefer your sparkling wine very dry or rather semi-sweet.
Try:
- Pinot Blanc brut, a champagne-style, very dry and finely fruity sparkling wine,
- Scheurebe dry, a very fruity, not quite so dry sparkling wine with a distinctive grape character, and
- Bacchus semi-dry, a fruity-sweet, very easy-drinking sparkling wine.
Sparkling Wine with Food

Sparkling wine is not very often served as an accompaniment to a meal. However, we have found that whenever a glass of sparkling wine is served as a welcome drink, many guests – especially the ladies – prefer to continue with sparkling wine rather than switch to still wine.
Pinot Blanc brut sparkling wine and dry Scheurebe sparkling wine go particularly well with dishes such as poultry, fish and seafood or vegetarian meals that one would normally pair with a white wine.
The sweeter Bacchus sparkling wine is not only a pleasant drink for toasting, but also pairs very well with cheese, sweet-and-sour dishes or light desserts.

Fuchs’s Enjoyment Tips
- Try Pinot Blanc brut sparkling wine with spaghetti and pesto Genovese. The aroma of fresh basil pairs beautifully with this sparkling wine.
- With a dash of Dornfelder grape liqueur added to the sparkling wine, you can create an elegant apéritif with a fine fruity note and a beautiful rosé colour.
- Sparkling wine tastes particularly delicious with fresh strawberries or peaches.
