The Fuchs assortment includes a multifaceted choice of interesting white and red grapes. Classical types of vine are e.g. Riesling, the most famous German grape variety, Pinot Noir, a classical red vine or Chardonnay, an internationally well-known white grape.
Newcomers bred during the 20th century are e.g. the red vines Cabernet Dorsa or Dornfelder, the latter being a shooting star among the German newer red vines.
Huxel and Scheu are newer and very aromatic white grapes.
Besides the popular classics and newcomers we cultivate some rarities which are scarcely grown, e.g:
Dunkelfelder is a deep dark red wine of high density. The ancient Gewuerztraminer grape delivers spicy white wines. Moscato Rosa, a traditional grape from the Trentino-Alto Adige region, delivers luxuriant red dessert wines.
