The Pinot meunier is said to be the forefather of the Burgundy vines family, an old variety, requesting best locations.
Pinot meunier loves the rich and fertile soils of our region. We grow the vines in warm locations to allow the late ripening, dark blue berries to reach full ripeness.
This Pinot meunier is a very dry red wine; it has a harmonious taste of red fruits such as cherries, raspberries and red currant. It has a beautiful colour of ruby-red and a very mild and pleasant acidity.
Pinot meunier dry is fine with barbecue dishes, dark meat, venison, and cheese, as well as with Italian dishes and pasta.
This Pinot meunier is medium-sweet with a beautifully modulated taste of red fruits such as cherries, raspberries and red currant. Its colour is a beautiful ruby-red, its acidity smooth and velvety. The medium-sweet wine is a good choice for everyone loving not too dry wines.
Pinot meunier goes well with roasted and barbecued meat, venison, cheese and with Mediterranean dishes or pasta.
Do not hesitate to taste this wine cooled, it also is a pleasant wine to enjoy on a warm summer evening.
