The Dunkelfelder is one of our red wine rarities – a grape variety which is very demanding in cultivation while delivering only irregular and low quantity harvests. The Dunkelfelder berries are small, their juice and skin are of deep dark bluish red colour.

The powerful fruitiness of Dunkelfelder wine is as overwhelming as its colour: an intense fruit cocktail of blackberries, cherries and caramel nuances in a deep, dark, velvety red - ripe tannines and pleasant sweetness in perfect harmony.
